Tuesday 26 May 2026 will remain a key date for our country’s energy transition. Antoine Millot, our CEO, had the honour of representing Énergie Transfert Thermique at the Élysée Palace, alongside the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, as part of the historic mobilisation of France’s electrification Team.
Our goal is to make France Europe’s first major decarbonised nation, notably by accelerating the deep electrification of the building sector through heating and air conditioning with heat pumps.
Alongside other HVAC industry players, we are committed to producing 1 million heat pumps per year in France.
A historic milestone
This meeting builds on the Electrification of Uses Plan presented by the Prime Minister in April 2026 and confirms France’s determination to:
- Strengthen energy sovereignty through the revival of nuclear power and the accelerated rollout of renewable energy
- Achieve 95% low-carbon electricity in 2026
- Position electrification as a driver of industrial competitiveness
