Energy Performance Monitoring and Control Contract

It is clear that the largest potential source of financial savings for the Owner / Client lies, by far, in reducing energy consumption during the operation of the building.

This naturally starts with selecting, from the outset, equipment specifically designed to deliver the highest possible energy performance coefficients (SCOP and SEER). The added cost of purchasing high-performance equipment is largely and rapidly offset by the energy savings achieved.

Reducing energy consumption: the largest financial savings potential

A survey has shown that it is also possible to significantly reduce energy consumption throughout the service life of the heating/cooling system.

Indeed, depending on how the building is used and operated, real-time adjustment of various parameters through control of the regulation functions (setpoints, operating schedules, deadband settings, differential settings, free cooling, etc.) has generated highly significant financial savings

Example of average measured annual energy cost*

An average reduction of 30% in energy consumption was achieved following remote intervention by ETT (equivalent to 8 tonnes of CO₂ saved over one year). This saving rises to 60% for adiabatic thermodynamic systems (optimizing water consumption).

Operating principle of the Energy Performance Monitoring and Control Contract

The C2PE is a win-win contract.

  • There is no additional cost for customers: remuneration is based exclusively on the savings generated through monitoring. If there are no savings, then ETT receives no remuneration.
  • Under this contract, your peace of mind is ensured: system control and proper operation are managed by ETT, meaning the equipment operates in an optimized way and its durability and availability rate are increased.
  • Regular reports and oral feedback sessions are provided to track the savings achieved on a day-to-day basis.

What does the C2PE include?

  • Installation of the myETTvision remote monitoring system (if the machine is not already equipped)
The myETTvision Supervision Service has been specifically developed to remotely and instantly control and optimize your installation.
  • Remote control of ETT equipment by an Energy Manager, an expert engineer in control systems
In addition to remote monitoring via the myETTvision control system, the service also includes full support for the beneficiary to ensure proper understanding of the ETT equipment covered by the contract: operation, settings, control principles, etc.
  • Regular communication of the savings achieved

Customer feedback

C2PE contracts have been implemented on a number of ETT sites, including shopping malls.

Their feedback is unanimous:

    • "The impact has been very positive.”
    • “The results even exceeded our expectations, confirming the decision to implement a C2PE.”
    • “A huge improvement in our site operating and overhead budgets, and better anticipation of future budgets with the various owners.”
    • “A transparent C2PE that brings not only technical added value but also economic value, as the energy bill has clearly decreased (68% on HVAC).”
    • “I strongly recommend that our peers implement C2PE contracts within their scope. The economic benefit is significant.”
