Our challenge
Design adiabatic units using R290 and adapt them to existing systems (replacing existing units) in order to save energy and reduce carbon emissions. The R290 fluid makes it possible to anticipate F-gas regulations and drastically reduce greenhouse gases. GWP of 3 for R290 compared with a GWP of 675 for R32 and a GWP of 2088 for R410. Adiabatic cooling allows savings of 60% compared with thermodynamic operation over the same period. Create a support to adapt to the customer's existing frames so that the new machines can be installed in place of the existing ones.

Our approach
Identify the customer's needs (energy savings, decarbonisation), visit the site to check the environment, the areas being treated and the existing equipment to be replaced.
Propose a solution that meets needs and constraints. Take advantage of this opportunity to conduct an R&D Proof of Concept (POC) by developing an adiabatic rooftop unit using propane (R290). A world first and the roof-top of the future (ETT's next range).
Carry out an ROI study between a standard roof-top and an adiabatic roof-top to justify the return on investment. Remote monitoring of machines by R&D, ETT Energie and ETT Services departments.
