The issue

The problem with this installation lies in the need to maintain strictly controlled indoor temperature and humidity conditions (19°C in winter, 26°C in summer and 50% humidity) throughout the year, by integrating autonomous systems for producing heating and cooling, as well as external dehumidification and humidification devices. This objective must be achieved by minimising energy consumption through a heat recovery system using the air extracted from the process, ensuring optimum efficiency while meeting the building’s comfort and stability requirements.

Our intervention

The aim was to maintain indoor conditions of 19°C in winter and 26°C in summer, with a humidity level of around 50% all year round.
The 4 machines are fully self-sufficient to ensure compliance with these conditions:

  • Hot and chilled production thanks to 2 refrigeration circuits
  • Thermodynamic dehumidification function with electric reheating
  • Control of an external humidifier

In addition, to optimise energy consumption, the machines are equipped with a hydraulic coil powered by a recovery coil on the air extracted from the process.
