NEXEREN (63)

This data centre was looking for an innovative air treatment system that would prevent the introduction of any fresh air to avoid any external pollution.
A phasing plan was put in place to adapt the number of machines according to the load on the servers.

The issue

The development of these units focused on assembling several technological building blocks to arrive at a unique and energy-efficient concept:

  • All Return Air operation
  • Double plate heat exchanger
  • Indirect adiabatic cooling
  • Terminal thermodynamic cooling
Our intervention

The idea was to proceed by functionality level depending on the outside temperature.

Static cooling is favoured by modulating the flow of fresh air/rejected air to adjust the transfer power to the supply air. If this is not enough, the adiabatic cooler can be activated to cool the new air to increase this exchange.

Finally, the compressor is only used for summer temperatures above 36°C.
