Understanding your industry challenges
In the catering sector, the need for air treatment is twofold: it is obviously a question of ensuring the comfort of customers in the dining room, as this can have a direct effect on the number of people visiting the establishment, but the kitchen area is also an issue, as the atmosphere is directly affected by the cooking process. Hoods and extractor ceilings constantly evacuate large volumes of stale air (smoke, grease, odours, etc.), which must be compensated for by blowing in fresh outside air, which must also be brought up to comfort temperatures to ensure the well-being and concentration of kitchen staff.
Heat exchangers are frequently used to preheat fresh air. ETT offers a wide range of technologies, including plate, rotary, heat pipe and glycol water heat exchangers.

The ULTI+ R32 OR range can be installed on a water loop. This system combines performance (SEER / SCOP, no defrosting, wide operating range) and accessibility (installation on standard curb, installation in machine room possible). Three hydraulic configurations are available.

Your project
New build
For new buildings or building extensions, ETT offers you a comprehensive choice of units in terms of flow rates, power and options . You'll also be provided with drawings of the associated connection curbs, so that you can design suitable roof headers.
Refurbishment
Replacing equipment that has already been in place for several years requires special attention, since the constraints of weight on the roof structure, space requirements and waterproofing of the roof must be taken into account. With its aluminium machines and its ability to develop customised curbs, ETT can support you in this process.

Regulations
Since 2022, the French Tertiary Decree has applied to existing restaurants of more than 1,000 m². Owners are required to gradually reduce their energy consumption (by 60% by 2050).
The BACS decree published at the end of July 2020, which requires establishments to install a building control system, is part of the arsenal of solutions for achieving the objectives of the Tertiary Decree.
For new buildings, project managers must refer to the RE 2020 Environmental Regulations, which aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
