Refrigeration technician

Our Refrigeration Technicians are responsible for constructing refrigeration circuits following refrigeration schematics and sheet metal drawings while adhering to industry best practices. Mastery of pipe bending and brazing is essential to ensure the sealing and quality of our products.

Our Refrigeration Technicians pressure-test copper refrigeration tubes, charge the systems with refrigerant as specified by our engineering team, and perform comprehensive quality checks on all our units before customer delivery.

Thanks to their electrical knowledge, our testers ensure proper machine operation by verifying safety systems and various operating modes.

Our teams work closely with the electrical, sheet metal, and hydraulic departments, requiring adaptability and strong teamwork skills. This collaborative environment allows each team member to find their niche and contribute effectively.

After a career as an electrician, I was looking for a change and something new. I discovered the Refrigeration field at ETT through a temporary contract.

Thanks to internal training and mentorship, I've been able to grow and am now versatile: I work on standard assembly, custom machines, and machine testing.

I particularly appreciate the fixed working hours, the spirit of mutual support, the open communication within the company, and the fact that I work at the Ploudalmézeau workshop every day. When needed, we may also have the opportunity to work on-site with clients - I'm actually going on my first field assignment soon.

ETT also organizes team-building events that strengthen our cohesion (like Candlemas and Epiphany celebrations).
