The refrigerant in your installations operates at high pressure, which presents potential risks. Failure could have serious consequences for both personnel and equipment, including:
- Structural damage
- Dangerous splashes
- Risk of inhalation of toxic substances
- Risk of ignition
Regular inspection of your equipment is therefore essential, and particular attention must be paid to its construction, operation, control and maintenance.
Recommendations
It is the responsibility of the ETT machine user to comply with the regulations in force in the country where the machine is installed. In the absence of regulations, ETT recommends that you draw up an Inspection Plan for your Pressure Equipment, the role of which is to define the monitoring actions to be carried out and their frequency.
