Our CSR dynamics

Our environmental policy has been ISO 14001 certified for environmental management since 2010.

As a responsible economic actor engaged in continuous improvement, our primary duty is to prevent pollution risks and limit our impacts.

Our sustainable development approach is built on four strong pillars:

  • An environmental policy focused on preventing pollution risks
  • A strategic historical choice for the sustainable use of resources
  • A climate commitment to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 48% by 2030, in line with international climate change mitigation goals
  • A responsible corporate dynamic that extends its influence and promotes respect for fundamental human rights

As specialists in energy recovery air treatment systems and high-efficiency heat pumps, ETT places customer satisfaction at the heart of its strategy.

Quality emerges from a mindset geared towards excellence. Thus, it is logical and consistent for ETT to uphold a rigorous approach to Environmental Quality, not only in product development, which prioritizes low energy consumption, but also in the manufacturing process itself. Adhering to ISO 14001 is therefore a corporate choice that encompasses:

  • Respect for the environment and natural resources,
  • Compliance with applicable legal requirements,
  • Continuous improvement of environmental performance and pollution prevention,
  • Awareness and training of staff, and, when necessary, external service providers in environmental regulations,
  • Enhanced workplace safety

Our Quality and Environmental Management System has been established with this mindset and is applied throughout the design, manufacturing, and on-site assistance processes.

It is based on the principle of continuous improvement and is subject to regular reviews to assess the achievement of set objectives. The associated actions are outlined in the improvement plans of various departments.

Our Quality and Environmental Management System is fully integrated into our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy.

Environmental management committed to sustainable use of resources since 2010

ETT is committed to the constant modernization of its industrial organization, contributing to a controlled use of resources. Historically, ETT has aimed for a high level of environmental performance by choosing sustainable and recyclable materials (such as aluminium) that provide better durability and recyclability.

  • For Recycling: In 2024, nearly 47% of aluminium consumed in France will come from recycling. Aluminium can be recycled 100% indefinitely without degrading its properties, unlike other metals, which can only incorporate up to 20% recycled material to maintain raw material quality. Its recycling requires minimal energy—only 5% of the energy needed for primary metal production. Our waste is sent directly back to the rolling mill for production.
  •

For Durability: An aluminium machine lasts longer than a painted galvanized steel machine, often by several years. Based on an average lifespan of 15 years for industrial machines, an additional 3 years of lifespan translates to a 16.7% savings on the total investment at equal cost.

Aluminium naturally develops a protective oxide layer (alumina) that prevents corrosion. Various surface treatments can further enhance this resistance (anodizing, coating, etc.). ETT offers a 20-year anti-corrosion warranty under normal use.

This commitment to reducing our GHG emissions is a target ETT has set for itself by 2030.

Following our GHG assessment conducted in 2023 (scope 3), ETT is ramping up its efforts to improve the energy performance of our technologies and services: adiabatic cooling solutions, development and promotion of R290 refrigerant, monitoring of energy performance of equipment, etc.

Our commitment particularly focuses on:

  • Reducing the electrical consumption of our technologies
  •  Developing retrofit solutions
  •  Decarbonizing our inputs
  •  Optimizing monitoring of refrigerant leak rates
  •  Raising awareness and mobilizing our teams

Promoting respect for human rights

ETT is also committed to promoting respect for human rights by supporting the principles of the Global Compact and advocating for the adherence to these fundamental principles throughout our value chain.
