Eco-Design: sustainability at the core
We are committed to designing air conditioning systems that minimize their environmental impact. This includes:
- Using premium components with specific coatings to reduce rust and premature wear
- Incorporating low-GWP refrigerants and recyclable materials (100% recyclable aluminium)
- Creating durable, proven solutions to avoid unnecessary maintenance work
Our Research and Development teams continuously work on improving the energy performance of our machines, reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Reducing Carbon Footprint
ETT strives to reduce the carbon footprint across our entire production chain by:
- Optimizing industrial processes
- Reducing waste
- Adopting renewable energy sources in our factories
- Minimizing CO2 emissions related to transport through optimized logistics
By choosing an ETT heat pump over a gas boiler, our clients have avoided emitting an additional 1 million tons of CO2.
Internally, ETT has engaged all teams in an energy-saving approach, including limiting office temperatures to 19°C and installing twilight-type light detectors to reduce lamp usage without compromising operator safety.

Responsible Waste Management
Waste management is a priority in our manufacturing process. We implement strict practices for sorting, recycling, and waste recovery while reducing the amount of waste generated. For example:
- ETT machines incorporate "Eco-Concept" air filters (selective sorting of frame, grid, and media)
- We perform selective sorting by raw materials (all waste is recovered, 80% of which is recycled)
- Our machines are made of 100% recyclable aluminium, and their bodies do not require painting, eliminating solvent use
ETT is a member of "Ecologic," an eco-organization that ensures the decontamination and recycling of collected waste in compliance with regulations.

Compliance with Environmental Standards
ETT is committed to meeting and exceeding current European environmental standards, including compliance with the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) and regulations related to hazardous substances and greenhouse gas emissions.
Our R&D team anticipates regulatory changes to adapt our air treatment systems and industrial processes to new requirements.

Collaboration with Responsible Partners
Our environmental commitment extends to our purchasing and supply chain. We work with suppliers who share our vision of sustainability and ensure they adhere to rigorous environmental practices. We prioritize partnerships with companies that use eco-friendly materials and implement sustainable production practices.
